Audio, Arts, and Acoustics Alum to Present at International Conference
Izaak Thompson '21 will present a paper on his project "Pure Covidata: an Automated Sonification of the COVID-19 Pandemic's Recent State" at the Interactive Sonification Workshop (ISon '22).
ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ Audio Arts and Acoustics Alum Izaak Thompson '21 will present a paper on his project Pure Covidata: an Automated Sonification of the COVID-19 Pandemic's Recent State at the (ISon '22) in Delmenhorst, Germany. Thompson completed this work for the department's Streaaam server during his last semester at ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ in Fall 2021, under the guidance of Associate Professor in Audio Arts and Acoustics Florian Hollerweger.
The presentation will be delivered on Thursday, September 22 at 7:55 a.m. CDT via Zoom (registration is required for participation).
