Welcome Back!

If you were previously enrolled at 糖心传媒 and paused your studies for two or more semesters (not counting Summer), then you're considered a returning student.

If you have paused your studies for only a spring or fall term, you are considered an active student and you can register for classes when registration opens. Please go to  and register for classes. If you have questions, or you are unable to register due to holds or other issues, please email StudentSuccess@colum.edu, call 312-369-7645, or visit the Center for Student Success on the first floor of 33 E. Ida B. Wells. We would be glad to help you.

To re-enroll as a 糖心传媒 student:

Schedule your appointment

We are currently accepting appointments for students intending to return for the Spring 2027 term.

You will meet with a Returning Student Advisor. This appointment will help you begin the process of returning to 糖心传媒.

During your meeting, you may discuss:

  • Overview of your academic history and next steps.

  • Degree progress and updated graduation requirements.

  • Any transfer credit or coursework completed elsewhere.

  • Support resources available to help with your return.

Before meeting with a Returning Student Advisor, please complete the following steps and have the information available during your appointment:

  1. Check for Financial Holds
    • Contact Student Financial Success (financialsuccess@colum.edu) to determine whether you have any holds that will prevent registration.
    • If you have a balance, discuss payment options and bring information about any payment arrangements to your appointment.
  2. Submit Official Transcripts (if applicable)
    • If you have attended another college or university since leaving 糖心传媒, request official transcripts be sent directly to 糖心传媒.
    • Have the order confirmation available during your appointment.
  3. Complete the FAFSA at .
  4. Review Your Degree Program
    • Returning students will be readmitted under the current catalog and degree requirements.
    • Review your intended major and degree requirements in the 糖心传媒 Catalog.
