Designing Bandages: Curad Competition Scores Students Cash Prizes
Joelle Olabode, left, took home $2,500 for her design; Joey Zanetti, right, won $1,000.Students from ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½’s Fashion Studies department participated in a design competition sponsored by Medline, the maker of Curad bandages. The challenge: To create designs for Curad bandages and/or their sports tapes and wraps.
Congratulations to rising junior Joelle Olabode for her winning design (Flowers) and to rising senior Joey Zanetti who was named runner-up (Balloons). Both students will receive cash awards, with Olabode winning $2,500 and Zanetti taking home $1,000. Winners were selected by Medline’s consumer marketing and design teams.
This is the second year that Medline has partnered exclusively with ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ in this design competition. The experience provides ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ students a unique opportunity to create designs for the company’s next generation of product launches.
